Weird

Ok. I know every writer says that they have conversations with their characters, but this is taking it a little far.

So I was on a plane to Miami, Florida with my uncle and I fell asleep for about two hours (with the help of Tylenol PM) and when I woke up I realized that next to me sat a guy that looked exactly like Jason Cross from my book. It was a little weird. Not only that, but when I woke up my head was resting on his shoulder and he was smiling down at me. First I nearly had a heart attack and then he asked me if I slept well. (CREEPY!)

The day before I had started typing my book I had had a dream about being on a plane with my characters. So, of course, I thought that I was dreaming again. But when you're dreaming, you can't smell or taste anything. Well I could taste my Pepsi and I could smell Jason's cologne.

Ok, back to the story. So I pinched myself a few times, trying to wake myself up from the dream, but then I realized that I wasn't dreaming.

"You look like you've just seen a ghost or something," Jason had laughed.

(This was close enough!)

"Nope, no ghosts," was my response which I added a strained smile to.

"I'm Jason, Jason Cross," Jason smiled.

(I litterally just about died at that moment)

"...And this is my sister Katarina," he said, point to a katarina-looking girl sitting in the aisle seat.

(I half wanted to say my name was Phoebe Stanton just to see the reaction on his face, but I didn't).

"I'm Stephanie," I replied.

So Jason and I started talking about random things. He talked about his taste in music, his favorite movies and his least favorite. I did the same. Then we talked about books and me being the nerd that I am mentioned "Twilight". Well then he said that he had read that book too. So, again my nerdness came out and I asked who he preffered "Edward or Jacob".

His response: "I'm with the werewolves".

(I AM DYING AT THIS MOMENT).

"Really? Me too," was my response.

(This was before Breaking Dawn which changed my mind and made me love both Edward and Jacob. I am Switzerland now.)

"But I think that they got the whole werewolf thing wrong," Jason muttered.

"Oh? Do you believe in the whole silver bullets and full moon crap?" was my response.

"No. But it's dumb that they're always the same size. I mean, from what I know about werewolves is that they grow with the moon and shrink with it. So a new moon would happen and they could be mistaken for a dog, while a full moon they would be huge!" Jason responed.

(OMG, just like my rules in my book. God this is soooo weird.)

The conversation continued and we disgussed Underworld (the movie). He complained about the werewolves in that movie, but he said that they got the vampires right, except for the sun thing.

So throughout the plane ride I was focused so much on how I was talking to my characters that when I stepped off the plane I ended up seeing most of the Cross Coven standing in a group in the terminal. That's everyone including Caleb. The only people missing was Phoebe (echem, me!) and Peyton (echem, Bella!).

So I don't know whether I'm going crazy or something but that's my story. I ended up sitting next to Caleb on the ride back from Miami, Florida, which was odd to see them again, and the twins said that they were "stalking me" (in a joking tone).

As I writer, I think that it was just the world working in mysterious ways...
